Police Department
The Village of Yorkville Police Department is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, businesses, and the Whitesboro Central School District community. The department operates as a full-service law enforcement agency providing police services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our agency is comprised of five full-time sworn officers and thirteen part-time sworn officers and support personnel who work collaboratively to deliver professional, responsive, and community-oriented policing services.
To effectively meet the public safety needs of the Village, the department utilizes specialized assignments and coordinated operational responsibilities designed to promote efficiency, accountability, and proactive service delivery. The members of the Village of Yorkville Police Department are dedicated law enforcement professionals who take great pride in serving the community while upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public trust.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Yorkville Police Department is to safeguard the lives and property as well as protect the innocent from becoming victims of crime while always respecting the people’s constitutional rights. We perform partnerships with communities to improve the quality of life for all citizens who visit or call Yorkville home. We value the public’s trust in our agency as we work to exhibit sound judgement and open communication. We have placed strong emphasis on leadership, management and problem-solving partnerships with our citizens through community policing.

Parking Rules
During the Winter Season
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XXIII (§ 127-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the period beginning from January 1 to April 1 of each year.
